These two certainly do!

Aren't these little guys cute! I would tote these guys with me wherever I went; if it weren't odd for an adult to do so.

After I was done stitching them all up, my husband promptly said

"Oh! Those are so cool hun, they look like the birds from Angry Birds"

So there you have it.

I on the other hand think they are quite fantastic. 

Here are their stunning mugs.

They were quick to whip up and would be a hoot of a gift for anyone!

Crochet Plush Owl Tutorial

Things You Will Need:

Yard of any kind, or color. 

Cotton batting.

Body:

Beginning:

Ch 3, Ss in first St and Ch 1.

Row 1:

6 Sc in circle, Ss in top of the first St, Ch 1. {6 Ch}

Row 2:

Count first Ch 1 as first Sc from this point forward.

1 Sc in beinning St, 2Sc in each St around. Ss in first St, Ch 1. {12 Ch}

Row 3:

1Sc in Beginning St, 1Sc in next St, (Repeat from this point*)*2Sc in next St, 1Sc in next St around., Ss in first St, Ch 1. {18 Ch}

Row 4:

1Sc in each St around, Ss in first St, Ch 1. {18 Ch}

Row 5:

1Sc in Beginning St, 1Sc in next two St, *2Sc in next St, 1Sc in next two St around, Ss in first St, Ch 1 {24 Ch}

Row 6:

1Sc in Beginning St, 1Sc in next three St, *2Sc in next St, 1Sc in next three St around, Ss in first St, Ch 1 {30 Ch}

Rows 7-12:

1Sc in each St around, Ss in first St, Ch 1. {30 Ch}

Row 12:

*1 Sc in next 3 Ch, 2Sc Tog around, Ss in first St, Ch 1 {24 Ch}

Fill your little Owl Friend now, Its a little easier at this point.

Row 13:

*1 Sc in next 2 Ch, 2Sc Tog around, Ss in first St, Ch 1 {18 Ch}

Row 14:

*1 Sc in next 1 Ch, 2Sc Tog around, Ss in first St, Ch 1 {12 Ch}

Row 15:

2Sc Tog around Ss and tuck in tail. {6 Ch}

Wings: {Make 2}

Row 1:

6 Sc in circle, Ss in top of the first St, Ch 1. {6 Ch}

Row 2:

2Sc in each St around {12 Ch}

Row 3:

*1 Sc in next 3 St, 2Sc in next St around. {15 Ch}

Row 4-6:

Sc in each St Around {15 Ch}

Cut and tuck in tail

Tail: {make 2}

Row 1:

6 Sc in circle, Ss in top of the first St, Ch 1. {6 Ch}

Row 2:

2Sc in each St around {12 Ch}

Row 3:

2Sc in each St around {24 Ch}

Cut and Tuck in tail.

Sew on tail, and wings to they are symmetrical.
