We are the Baileys
I, the blogger am Ashley and my inspiration is my husband, Drayton. Its nice to meet you, a definite pleasure. I signed up for a blog in order to write. I by no means am an author, but I have always felt a need to write and express myself. Blogging has been a fantastic outlet for that need. My blog is my running thought process and the things that inspire me. Most of my insperation is created by my husband.
Drayton is the realist in our relationship. He keeps me level and from spinning in circles. Drayton is very tech savvy and loves his Mother's home made cinnamon rolls. He likes to snowboard and jump out of airplanes. In fact, Drayton had never been on an airplane until just before we were married. So, he hopped on a plane and promptly jumped out of it, parachute and all. Draytons first time on a plane he jumped out of it. Drayton also is a complete sucker when it comes to our puppy Grace.
Grace, oh what to say about Grace. She's emotional and we howl together. That about sums up Grace in a couple of words. In all reality, Grace has won my puppy loving heart completely over. I don't think we could love another dog as much as we do her. She is an American Cocker Spaniel and is one of the most beautiful cockers I have ever seen. She fills the cracks in my day when we have our after work howls together. Yes, I howl with my dog, its good for our souls. Grace loves to eat things she shouldn't like See's candy and doesn't like to eat things like chicken. She's odd and fits perfectly into our family.
I consider myself a crafter, a crafter of many crafts. I love to crochet. Crocheting somehow calms my spirits and eases my mind. I am a turquoise fiend; I dig any piece of jewelry that has turquoise in it. Most of my life could be summed up in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet; I'm a list maker. I'm a firm believer that plants make you live longer.
Individually we are all of those thing, but together we are almost invincible. We are just starting our lives together actually. We are newlyweds-and forever will be in my head- and were married on 07.02.2010. We are strong Christian believers and call our church our home away from home. Christ is the core of our hearts and our home. We can't wait to start our own little family and watch our lives unfold. This is Our Traveled Road.
