This is a generic circle, when following a patter follow the correct number of stitches.
A good rule of thumb to remember is, however many you chain in the beginning, you will double in the next row.
Row 1:
Chain 5, Ss into beginning St, Ch 2.
It should look like this once you've Ss into the first Ch.
Row 2:
You will count the firs Ch 2 as your first Dc. 10 Dc in the center of your circle and then Ss to the TOP of your Ch 2, That is right where the top of my hook is pointing. {10Ch}

and then Ch 2.
Rows 3:
1Dc in Beginning St. {In the picture above, it is right at the base of the Ch2} This counts as two Dc. *1Dc in next Ch, 2Dc in next Ch, all the way around. Ss into top of Ch 2, Ch 2. {15Ch}

Row 4:
1Dc in beginning St. *1Dc in next 2 Ch, 2Dc in next Ch, all the way around. {20Ch}

Each row you add, you are adding 1Dc in between the 2Dc spaces. Do this until your project is as wide as you would like!

Until Next Time,
