Day 2 of Home Ownership

Yes we just skipped right over day 1. No, day one we sprayed some bee and wasp spray. See, we did something. Day 2, well I got pretty up close and friendly with some lovely [insert sarcasm here] spiders! Today with the help of our dear friends the Verhaals we ripped the nasty carpet out, hacked, sawed and pulled a bunch of bushes and trees out of the yard! Here are the before and afters!

We found a super cool surprise when we ripped up the carpet.....

Yes thats right. Black Mold. Nothing a bottle of bleach, lysol and paint wont fix?


After working for a good 8 hours we were left with some great tan lines.

All in all. It was a great day!
