The past three weeks of my life have been very different. They have been slow. Maybe slow is not the correct wording, and possibly through explaining it I may find another way to define them.
Lets backtrack a little okay?
October 1 through October 9
We went to my Grandparents for a well needed R&R sort to speak. We came home all excited about our burst of energy and couldn't wait to explore our findings on the following Sunday. I made numerous Halloween Decorations. Cleaned my home a couple times over and tried to keep up with laundry, while making dinner every night. Read 1 book in the series I'm reading! Which all of that combined with working full time is a load of work for me. So to all those who accomplish it without frustration, you have earned good Grace in my book.
October 10
WOW I could use a dose of this everyday! If you remember my blog, it was just sheer peaceful. I loved it. Wanted more of it. Excited for our next adventure the next Sunday go around.
October 11 through October 16
Tried a yucky diet thing. Yuck. Cleaned my house some more. I gave up on laundry for a couple of days. Made some dinners I'm sure of it. Made a couple more Halloween decorations. Bought pumpkins, and got pumpkins from Drayton's Parents. I painted those! [They're adorable by the way! A spider on one and a Creepy old school pumpkin face on the other] Went to a pre-season jazz game with my outstanding husband. My car battery died on me, made me late for work gosh dang it! Replaced it, and found out we bought a dead battery. Great right? Well replaced that one and it worked. Whew! Read 2 books in my series! Made some really darling Halloween magnets for my neighbors! 16 to be exact and got locked out of my house. Which was extremely frustrating. Had Drayton scale the apartment building to get us in. Went to Gardner's Village with my family and received a darling Scentsy Holder from my adorable Momma.
October 17
Calmness again. I could really get used to this! Next week is all about Revelations. Excited much I am. The books I'm reading are all based out of Revelations. Its the "Left Behind" series. Amazing. So we're so stoked about that next go around.
October 18
I had a case of the Monday Blues. Who wants to go to work on a Monday? Not me! The bank 2 buildings away from us got robbed. We saw the robber on the top of our parking garage pacing and peering into cars to potentially find a get away car. He jumped of the parking garage and ran. Enough excitement for me for one day! Oh and I made Lemon Bars. They're okay.
October 19 [Today]
Car wont start. Great. I'm rescued by my knight in shining armor. Fixed my battery. The connection giggled. Apparently thats not good. Its fixed for real this time. Late to work again. Great. Today, work is mad busy and I sit here blogging in procrastination.
I hope everyone followed that. We're now at the current date. Would you like to know how I feel? I feel like I have done more than a trillion different things in the past 2 weeks than I have in a lifetime. Ahem, IT-ONLY-BEEN-TWO-WEEKS and it feels like its been like a month. The funny part is Once Monday comes, I'm so stoked for the weekend, and not for Friday nor Saturday. My time has slowed down and I think I could like it. I'm having a chance to open my eyes a little, slow down and pay attention.
I needed what has been happening. I needed to pay closer attention to what was going on. Kind of like having an outsiders view on my life. I've learned a lot, and could drink in a whole lot more.
I dig it needles to say.
Until Next Time
Peace & Love
