Do not set aside Grace

Lately there has been a phrase stuck rumbling around in my brain. It found me wondering the internet looking for a good quote. So I copied and pasted it into the lovely facebook. Once up there, people "liked" it and others re explained it, in what they thought it meant. Weeks later in the books I'm reading this phrase was typed over and over and over. Not giving into coincidence, I figure it must mean I needed that quote at the time it found me.

It leads me into a trap we are so falling for these days. Legalism versus Grace. There are people who are sticking to their guns and follow the path of legalism because "its the right thing to do". Those who follow the path of Grace wave their white flag and let you pass them by.

Finding where you stand on these two issues is huge. Being in the right group, dressing the right way to be apart of the "right" thing, or searching for the right thing and being who you are and living the right way. The path of legalism is picky and persuasive. The path of Grace is given to whomever and whenever and is faithful.

"For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves. It is a gift of God" Ephesians 2:8

Until Next Time,
Peace & Love
