Blinking Kindness
Kindness flows as easily out of people as Katsup flows out of those glass bottles. It gets stuck, bottle necks and then when it decides to come out. It gushes katsup all over your plate, and you either are angry, or shocked. Rarely are you excited or happy that it oozed all over your plate and food.
What I'm not saying is kindness makes people angry. What I am saying is this; there there are people who are rarely kind and when they decide to be, its all for the wrong reason. [mostly]
So when it comes flowing out of them, those around them are covered in this unknown substance called kindness. From a person that has never been before; therefore, they are shocked.
Its so easy to be self absorbed. So when you act kind to those around you, they are shocked and wonder whats going on. It shouldn't be shocking, it should be routine. Its such a simple gesture that it shouldn't be hard to do. Yet it is.
Kindness shouldn't be a job, or something you slave to do. You should just do it, and love doing it. One can never enjoy the repercussion of kindness if it has turned into a chore. My Momma has always told me that "With every action there is always a greater or equal reaction". Wouldn't it just be lovely if kindness was something we all just did. That it was something attached to us like. . . blinking. We know we do it, we don't think about doing it, it just happens. Blinking is so effortless and yet if we didn't do it, well our eyeballs would be a little shriveled eh? So there is the reactions. Think of all the superb reaction we could experience if we all just blinked kindness.
It would be sheer bliss.
Until Next Time,
Peace & Love
