Moving up in the world

Life has been treating these Bailey's very well lately. Maybe we're still in the bliss of being married, or as some put it, letting the honeymoon continue on. In all seriousness our lives have been so blessed the past couple of months.

We've got some great news! Drayton got a new job! It is going to be spectacular for him! I think it is more along the lines of what he wants to do for a career versus a job. He has been searching for quite some time, with a couple disappointments along the way, but looking back they weren't meant for him. Then this position opened its arms and swallowed him right on up! After all his interview were done, his headhunter guy (the recruiter) said the company said they loved Drayton and they can't wait to have him start! Things are looking on the bright side, I think we're moving up in the world! After 30 days both Drayton and I will have full benefits, and one of the best parts, we work like 3 blocks from each other! Can you say carpool, saving gas money or lunch dates? I think so!

Speaking of cars, we have decided that my beloved toothpaste car isn't going to be suitable for us any longer. So we're selling it. The upside to this, is i own just a few hundred dollars less than what its worth, so we want to sell it before we get upside down on it! We're in the market for a crossover. Something like a Nissan Murano or Mazda CX7. Something that is small enough to still get good gas mileage, but big enough in a couple years to put a car seat in the back.

My job is going great, and I love the challenge of it. I think this could be a place I could grow and sink my feet into something long term. My boss' are the sweetest guys. I think I'm pretty lucky to have found this place! My other jobs aka my little companies are chugging along. I'm currently creating my creations, so I have some bulk. So my websites aren't up, but I'm hoping with in a months time I'll have both my "La French Lady" and "A Peace of Paper" up and running. I've got some fun stuff going!

We've [erm I've] decided that we're moving our bedroom into our loft. Its a bigger space and this way we can have a craft/office room. Even though I have a beautiful area upstairs. I tend to never use it. :D I don't like climbing up there; therefore, all that just sits up there collecting dust. So I think that might be a project for this weekend. It will be an adventure getting the desks down stairs, bed and dresser upstairs.
