Gearing up, or Procrastination?

I'm trying desperately to gear up for my Saturday Morning Cleaning. 

In my procrastination I decided to go and count all the things growing in my garden. I thought you would want to know....right? It wasn't a time waster....right?

Mmmkay, so far all we have yielded are Snap Snow Peas. Yuck. and Banana peppers that I have to can (delish!)

We've got.....

peas,greenbeans,miniwatermelon,carrots,onions,sweetpotatos,greenbellpeppers,orangebellpeppers,jalepenos,bananapeppers,iforgetpeppers,heirloomtomatoes,bigboytomatoes,iforgettomatoesandpumpkins.

Of those....

- I've got bunches of peas that Mr. Bailey said he would eat, but isn't. :)
- The green beans are blooming and I'm stoked!
- The watermelon has over 15 watermelons and I'm scared for when they get bigger.
- The onion won't be edible until next season
- The sweet potatoes are going mad and I can't wait to eat them!
- The peppers, the green peppers are growing, I've got about 14 banana peppers and 1 jalepeno. Not real sure whats going on here.
- The tomatoes are alive and are giants. After killing 23 plants (yes I said 23) The 3 that survived are going at it. We've got 16 tomatoes growing and millions of blooms.
- The pumpkins. Yikes I'm afraid of that plant. It is MASSIVE. It could be that I planted like 24 seeds not knowing if all of them would work. Well I think they all did.

Okay, so explanation on my growing a garden thought. I had no stinkin' clue what I was doing mmmkay? So I planted a crap load of pumpkins and didn't know they would take over the planet. I also killed 23 tomato plants because I'm still not sure why. Then I thought my onions and sweet potatoes were goners so I planted a watermelon plant. When we came back from Hawaii, sure enough there was an onion plant and sweet potatoes with a gigantic watermelon plant threatening their living quarters. The peppers are super close together and I've got more than enough room between my tomato plants.

Next year, I know what to do. Start earlier in the season and be patient. HA

Okay, my washer is going off, which means I have to do something with the con tense of whats in there. Gak.
