Did you know in the 2.5 years Mr. Bailey and I have been an "Item" I have snapped over 2,500 photos of us and our adventure? That is 3.4 photos a day. If had to guess, I'd say that is a lot of photos. I have driving in the car photos, dining photos, Brewvies photos, Camping photos, Zoo Photos, Random photos, Concert Photos, Birthday Photos, Christmas Photos, St. Patrick's Day Photos, Engagement Photos, Wedding Photos, Honeymoon Photos, House Photos....Trust me I could keep going.
With all of the photo capturing I've done; I have a favorite photo. One single little photo out of all those 2,499; one it my all time favorite. Its not a wedding photo either, nor a honey moon capture. Its this one. . .
The history of this photo? We went camping for the first time together in Zion's National Park. I almost went blind from allergies--Ok so not quite--but my eyes were glued shut with an amazing eye booger goo.[Great visual!] We were stuck in our tent in a flash flood warning and gained a lovely small pond under our tent. With all the memory this single shot has, there is one huge emotion that I can't explain. Now, I don't even think Mr. Bailey knows why I love this photo dearly. So between you and I, something in me burst with with an amazing amount of emotion. I couldn't tell you why or how, but this is when I realized I really loved him.
So when I'm old and gray haired, and act a lot like Dory from Finding Nemo; I will look at this photo and look at my wrinkly gray haired husband and remember what an incredible adventure we've gone on.
Until Next Time,
Peace & Love
