The Routine

So it takes 28 days to create or break a habit I've been on a routine for the past 36 days . . . Lets hope I've created a habit! I've been eating a low calorie diet and exercising almost everyday. I'm on a 40,40,40 day cleanse. So 40 days of a low calorie diet in hopes to bring my defecate down. 40 days of clean eating, with out carbs or sugars and then 40 days of clean eating with a low amount of carbs and limited amount of sugars.

The countdown is on and I have to wear my wedding dress and man, do I want to look good in it. I bought myself a stability ball. Yes people its pink and I love it! I almost thought that blowing the darn thing up was the biggest work out, but after some long and intense googling of stability ball exercises I've got a good routine down. Since we've gotten out puppy, we get up pretty early . . . well early for me is like 5:30, and I've been trying to work out at home for about a half hour on my pretty pink ball. For something so simple, there are some workout on it that really kick booty!

My friend at work is a really healthy eater and I've been asking her a whole bunch of questions and seeking some advice. I really am wanting to change my relationship with food and what I'm putting into my body. I guess you can say my natural aiding side is coming out. She uses this cookbook and swears by it. Its called The Eat-Clean Diet. I've bought both the Family and Kids cookbook and the regular cookbook. Its got some scrumptious things in it!

What it has opened my eyes to is amazing. Learning how the body processes what we think is "healthy" cereal. Like Rasin Bran, my favorite cereal in the world, is like eating a twix bar in the morning. There is just about the amount of calories and sugar in 1 cup of Raisn bran as there are in a Twix bar. Isn't that insane?

None the less, I'm on a serious health kick, My motivation was purchasing 2 swims suits from Victoria's Secret. The kicker, they are two-pieces and by golly I will wear them. I may not have a 6 pack, but I'll have a tummy I'll be happy with and my thunder thighs will be mellow.

All in all, I'm excited to get hitched and I want to look good! So here we are on the countdown 94 days to go! Cross your fingers!

Until Next Time,
Peace and Love
