Lowes

Drayton has been working out in the field the past month or so. He's getting into commercial building instead of just residential units. This means, tools. Apparently there are many different shapes and sizes of pliers, screw drivers and file things. We went out to compare prices between The Home Depot and Lowes. Lowes won the price comparison and we were off to go back and purchase his tools. First of all, let me just say I think Lowes is boring and I would rather read my Better Homes and Gardens magazine than go to Lowes. Still, I went. I choose the standpoint behind the cart. The navigator through the store I know nothing about. Watching Drayton pick up four different pairs of "pliers" that all look the same and grumble about the price. Having him ask me have you seen [Insert foreign language] thinking that I know what he is talking about. So I look consciously trying to find this foreign object with no luck. I start to look around out of somewhat boredom and see this gentleman. If I had to guess he probably was in his mid fifties. Standing there looking at the same tools Drayton is. Shaking his head and putting things back, to just pick them back up and grumble more. I looked a little closer at him and it reminded me of what Drayton was doing about five minutes ago. In some weird connecting thought I tried to picture us at that age. Where we would be and if Drayton would be coming to Lowes to pick out the same tools we were looking at now. I love that man, and that's an exciting thought for me. . . . for us.
Out of all the tools we bought I walked out with a plant. Yes that's right a plant. I secretly think that's all Lowes is good for!

Until next time,
Peace and Love
