Time has flown, I swear it was just May and Drayton and I were packing to move.
Our home, looks like our home. Its perfect for Drayton and I. We still have some projects that need to be accomplished, but what homeowner doesn't hmm? Though, I still don't have electricity in the kitchen; well let me clarify, I do have a working range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. I don't have a working light, or outlets. :) My kitchen light consists of an extension cord plugged into the dinning room, with a power strip on one end. Oh and it has a lamp plugged into it, so I can have some light after 8:00PM. Projects and priorities right? It is all coming together though! Drayton finished the hallway lighting this past weekend. His projects might take what seems like forever to accomplish, but I'll tell you what; that man will not cut a corner, and it will be pristine and perfect by the time it is done. I appreciate that about him, he takes his time and cares about his projects.
Do you care if the photos I upload are of my Home decked out in Halloween decor? I'm sure you don't mind do you? I'll try to get them taken and posted.
This is one of my favorite times of the year. My Dad has made this time of year the most memorable for me and it will always be. It also is what Drayton asked me to be his wifey. :) See my post
This year though, has been rough. My love for Halloween is a constant reminder that my Dad is not here to share it with me. Not that we spent the time together, but I'm sure you get the point. It makes me sad, and I miss him. It makes me miss everything about him, good and bad. If I could just hug him one more time, whether that is picking him up to drive and check him into an AA program, or if that were to go sit by him for 3 hours while he did Dialysis...I might. I miss him that bad. I still feel like there is a gaping hole somewhere inside of me. Never take for granted the time spent with others. Whether they are loved ones, friends, or those you choose to keep at an arms length. We will never know when God's plan is going to take them from this place. Be kind, be giving and love with a whole and pure heart.
We have a new addition to the Bailey family. Yes, she is rambunctious and looks like a polar bear. Her name is Tess.

She is a beaut. She's a Golden Retriever.

And is almost if not as big as her Little Big Sister Grace. They like to play tug-o-war

and take naps together.
I like having a puppy with a tail.
Oh I'd love photos! Any!
ReplyDeleteAnd your sweet baby Tess is almost too much to handle. Take tons of photos!
