Carpet and Wood Stain

We purchased carpet yesterday! The color is a two tone with a brown and black twist. Its called Moccasin. Here is the picture from the website, BUT it looks incredibly more gray in this picture. In real life it has a lot more brown rich tones to it! We are going to be re-carpeting the Family room, Den and all the bedrooms!

We have the original hardwood floors in the house! Nice feature, one of which was a selling factor for me. We opted to sand and re-stain the wood! We are opting for this color of stain. Trust me when I say it matches the carpet so lovely! It has a lot of rich gold tones, but not enough to make the carpet look gold!

We are re-doing the hardwood in the dining room, Living Room and Hall way! I'll post before and after pictures! 

Our next feats are the roof and blinds. We've had a couple of the original owner's children come by and want to take pictures of the home and come back and see the renovations we are doing. Not to sound bitter, or rude, I'd like blinds up as soon as we can get them -- So people aren't peering through my windows. Yikes!
